The purpose of this site is to add a little flavour of who I am to the already available professional links such as Spotlight and CCP, which can be accessed from here too.

First of all, you may be interested to know why there is an 'AKA' to my name. It is just one of those strange quirks in life which happen to all of us from time to time - namely a TV programme I was credited in at the beginning of my career rolled my name to include 'James' for some reason unknown to me, and then even more strangely, so did a second TV credit a little while later. Anyway, again with no input from me, I saw that those credits were now showing on 'IMDb' under my 'given' name, and an 'AKA'. From there it just seemed to follow me around and I have decided that's fine by me. Call me either - so long as you call.

I have recently come back into the business after a break, which one day I may blog about on here as it makes rather good reading, or dare I say write the memoir of it, which has been suggested by some in the know.

For some 20 years I have worked in this fantastic business with it's ups, downs and quirks and love it as much as day one, but with vastly more experience. I have worked on dozens of stills and advertising campaigns, live shows and corporates too many to mention here even if I could recall them all (all features or leads). Credited TV roles, commercials and work generally covering the UK and abroad, all in the mix. I started out as a professional model, in fashion and advertising and as a newcomer really got the bug after being involved in big productions such as the L'Oreal awards at the Royal Albert Hall, where I came onto stage as Ginger Rogers. I have worked with Principal's from the Moulin Rouge in corporate shows in Paris, although was never a trained dancer, toured the Middle East in the '80's, modelled for countless fashion and home magazines, catalogues and book covers, been on the covers of novels and worked with some brilliant people. I have experienced the huge adrenalin rush and heart pounding of performing in large scale live choreographed fashion and press shows, and I firmly believe it a privilege to have done all this.

This site, however, is more devoted to the here and now for the purpose of being relevant, and to show the acting credits, and some highlights of current work. My site is very much a work in progress, but then I suppose life is too.
